Welcome to Elphi Kids. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Elphi Kids mobile application and the website at elphikids.com (together, the "Service"), operated by Elphi Kids ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Elphi Kids

Elphi Kids is a learning app designed for children aged 3–10. It is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Any account is created and controlled by an adult, who is responsible for supervising their child's use of the Service and for all activity under their account.

2. Your account

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. One account is intended for use by a single family.

3. Acceptable use

The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app or its content, and not to use the Service in any unlawful way or in any manner that could damage or disrupt it.

4. Free and premium plans

Elphi Kids offers a free tier with a selection of activities, and premium plans that unlock the full library. Premium plans are offered as subscriptions of different durations, shown inside the app. Purchases made through the app are processed by Google Play and are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Content and intellectual property

All content in the Service — including activities, characters (such as Elphi the Elephant), artwork, audio, text, and software — is owned by Elphi Kids or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. You do not acquire any ownership rights.

6. Educational content

Elphi Kids is designed to support early learning and is provided for general educational and entertainment purposes. It is not a substitute for formal schooling or professional educational, medical, or developmental advice.

7. Service availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Service running smoothly, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features, or update these Terms, from time to time. Where changes are significant, we will make reasonable efforts to let you know.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elphi Kids will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in India.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how Elphi Kids subscriptions can be cancelled and how refunds are handled.

Subscriptions

Elphi Kids premium is offered as auto-renewing subscription plans of different durations (for example, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year), alongside a free tier. The plans and current prices are shown inside the app before you confirm any purchase.

Purchases through Google Play

Premium purchases made in the Android app are processed securely by Google Play. Your subscription is billed through your Google account, and renewals are managed by Google Play.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time through Google Play:

• Open the Google Play Store app.
• Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
• Select Elphi Kids and tap Cancel subscription.

When you cancel, you will not be charged again, and you keep premium access until the end of your current paid period. We do not provide partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period after cancellation, except where required by law.

Refunds

Because purchases are made through Google Play, refunds are handled in line with Google Play's refund policy. You can request a refund directly through Google Play, usually within Google's eligible refund window, via the same Payments & subscriptions section or Google's support pages.

If you believe you were charged in error, or you have any difficulty, please contact us via our Contact page and we will do our best to help, including liaising with Google Play where appropriate.

Payments made directly on our website

If you make a payment directly through elphikids.com (where such an option is offered), any refund request for that payment will be handled by our support team under this policy. To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of the charge with your payment details, and we will review your request promptly.
